ZODI is a small, independent set of free web tools for Hong Kong families, built and run by SEARCHSMART in Hong Kong. There is no app to install and no charge to use them — they work in the browser, in English and Traditional Chinese. ZODI 是一套小型而獨立的免費網上工具，專為香港家庭而設，由香港的 SEARCHSMART 開發及營運。無須安裝應用程式，亦不收取費用，直接在瀏覽器使用，並設有中英文介面。

Why these tools exist這些工具的由來

Every tool here started as something we needed ourselves. The School Tracker began as a spreadsheet for keeping track of real K1 and Primary-1 application dates, because the information is scattered across dozens of school websites and each one changes its dates without warning. The activity and pet calendars came from the same place — a household trying to remember when the next class, jab or vet visit falls. 每個工具最初都是我們自己需要而製作的。升學追蹤原本只是一份試算表，用來記錄 K1 及小一的實際申請日期，因為相關資料散落於數十個學校網站，而各校往往未經通知便更改日期。活動及寵物日曆亦源於同樣的需要：一個家庭要記住下一堂課、下一次疫苗接種或獸醫覆診的日期。

Once they worked, we opened them up. That is also why the toolbox keeps growing in odd directions — travel, retirement, a small-business helper. Households need more than one kind of help, and not every household has children. 當這些工具用得順手後，我們便開放給其他人使用。這也解釋了為何工具箱會向不同方向擴展，包括旅遊、退休規劃及小生意助手。一個家庭所需的協助不止一種，而且並非每個家庭都有小朋友。

What's in the toolbox工具箱內容

• School Tracker升學追蹤 — kindergarten and primary application dates, school nets and through-train links.幼稚園及小學的申請日期、校網，以及直屬和聯繫學校。
• Family Calendar家庭日曆 — classes, one-off events and the pets' vet dates in one place.課堂、單次活動及寵物覆診日期，集中於一處。
• Travel旅遊工具 — a miles rebate calculator for comparing what a card actually earns.里數回贈計算機，比較信用卡實際賺取的里數。
• Retirement Planner退休規劃 — an MPF projection based on your own contributions and assumptions.根據你的供款及假設，推算強積金累算金額。
• P1 points calculator小一計分器 — work out a discretionary-places score from the EDB's official points system.按教育局官方計分辦法，計算自行分配學位的分數。

Where the school data comes from學校資料來源

Contact details come from the EDB Kindergarten Profile and Primary School Profiles. Application dates are collected from the schools' own websites by an automated check that runs roughly once a week, and the tracker shows when it last ran. 聯絡資料來自教育局《幼稚園概覽》及《小學概覽》。申請日期則由自動程式約每星期一次到各校網站收集，追蹤頁面會顯示最後更新時間。

Please treat it as a starting point, not the last word. Schools change dates at short notice and our check can lag by a few days. Always confirm on the school's own website before you rely on a date. ZODI is operated by SEARCHSMART, a Hong Kong business. The tools are free; we cover the running costs ourselves, and some visitors choose to buy us a coffee. If something looks wrong — a date, a school that has moved or closed — please tell us; corrections from parents are how this stays accurate.
